Based in Scoresby, and reporting to the Senior Commercial Accountant, the role of Commercial Accountant will manage Month End Accounting processes, partner the International Management team and provide decision support to drive growth and profitability.This full time role will be a crucial link between the international business unit and cross functional teams including Supply Chain, Industrial, Corporate Finance and will be actively involved in process improvements and cost saving initiatives.Key Responsibilities,Management of month end accounting close – Accruals and prepayments relating to trade spend, COGS/consumptions, logistics, marketing & overheads.Management reporting & analysis – Variance analysis and provision of commentary for monthly result. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and Finance reporting pack.Effective management of trade and marketing spend - Management and tracking of promotions, trading terms, listing fees, trade marketing, and marketing spend.Review and analysis of inventory and credit riskFinancial modelling & decision support in collaboration with FP&A team and management team.Liaise with Corporate Finance, AP, AR teams and External auditors as required.Key Requirements4+ years commercial experience in FMCG/manufacturing or similar industryTertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance or related fieldCPA/CA qualified or working towardsAdvanced ExcelExposure to ERP & reporting systems – SAP BI preferableData extraction, modelling & ability to apply across the entire P&LThe successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, strong communication skills, able to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines. About the Opportunity

We have an exciting finance role within the international business unit which has achieved strong growth in the last few years by exporting to over 30 countries.   • Financial modelling & decision support in collaboration with FP&A team and management team.
  • Liaise with Corporate Finance, AP, AR teams and External auditors as required.

Key Requirements

  • 4+ years commercial experience in FMCG/manufacturing or similar industry
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards
  • Advanced Excel
  • Exposure to ERP & reporting systems – SAP BI preferable
  • Data extraction, modelling & ability to apply across the entire P&L
